Updated May 2026 — added the Pulse subscription ($29/mo or $290/yr) to Section 3, reconciled the Setup fee in the plain-English summary with the homepage ($199, with a $99 founding member promo for the first 25 customers), and bumped the effective date.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SeeClario, the financial dashboard service operated by Clario Labs (“SeeClario,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Summary in plain English: You pay a $199 one-time Setup fee to activate your dashboard. Founding members (first 25 customers) pay $99. Optional plans: Access ($9/mo) and Pulse ($29/mo or $290/yr). You can cancel optional plans anytime. We build your dashboard from data you give us. We’re not a financial advisor. If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us.
1. The service
SeeClario is a personalized financial dashboard. You provide us financial data — by uploading statements, connecting bank accounts via Plaid, or entering information manually — and we build you a custom dashboard that reflects your accounts, balances, spending, and goals.
Lifetime portal access: Once you purchase SeeClario Setup, your dashboard and portal account remain accessible to you for as long as we operate the service, with no recurring subscription required to log in or view your dashboard. The optional SeeClario Access subscription unlocks the AI Assistant and priority refresh queue but is not required to retain access to your data or dashboard.
We are not a bank, broker, investment advisor, tax preparer, or financial planner. We do not hold your money, execute trades, or move funds on your behalf. We present and interpret the data you give us.
2. Eligibility and your account
To use SeeClario you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
If you share access with another household member or advisor, you remain responsible for what they do with your account.
3. How you pay
Current pricing (subject to change with notice):
- SeeClario Setup — $199 one-time (founding member promo $99 for the first 25 customers). Required before we build your first dashboard. Includes lifetime portal access — no subscription required to view your dashboard after purchase.
- Refresh Packs — one-time credit purchases of $39 (1 credit), $99 (3 credits), or $149 (6 credits). Credits do not expire. Each credit is good for one dashboard refresh.
- SeeClario Access — $9 per month or $90 per year, recurring. Unlocks the SeeClario AI Assistant and priority refresh turnaround. Optional — your dashboard remains accessible without it.
- SeeClario Pulse — $29 per month or $290 per year, recurring. Auto-refresh on every Plaid sync, statement refreshes included (no per-refresh charge), unlimited AI Assistant. Includes everything in Access. Optional — your dashboard remains accessible without it.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive payment confirmation from Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Prices may change for new customers at any time. If we change prices for existing subscribers, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Refunds and cancellation
- Setup fee: refundable within 7 days of purchase if we haven’t yet delivered your first dashboard. Not refundable after dashboard delivery.
- Refresh packs: unused credits are refundable on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase. Used credits are not refundable.
- SeeClario Access and Pulse: cancel anytime from the Stripe Billing Portal linked in your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds. Your portal access remains active after cancellation — only the subscription-tier features (AI Assistant, priority refresh, Plaid auto-refresh) stop.
- Full account deletion: email [email protected]. We delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
When you use SeeClario, you agree not to:
- Upload fraudulent, stolen, or third-party financial data without authorization.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or connected banks.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
- Use the service to violate any law.
- Impersonate another person or business.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where appropriate we will give notice and an opportunity to correct before terminating.
6. Connecting bank accounts via Plaid
If you choose to use our Fast Connect feature, Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) retrieves your financial data from your bank on your behalf. When you authorize Plaid:
- You authenticate directly with your bank through Plaid’s interface. We never see your online banking credentials.
- Plaid provides us with account information and transactions for the accounts you select.
- You can disconnect any linked bank at any time from your SeeClario portal, which immediately revokes our access.
Plaid is a separate company with its own terms and privacy policy. By using Fast Connect you also agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy.
We are not responsible for errors or outages originating at Plaid or at your bank. If Plaid-sourced data is wrong or incomplete, the fix is usually to disconnect and reconnect the bank.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of the financial data you provide. We use it only to deliver the service as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train machine learning models at third parties.
You grant us a limited license to process your data for the purposes of building your dashboard, running the AI Assistant when you use it, sending you operational communications, and improving the product for all users in aggregate, anonymized form.
We own the SeeClario software, dashboard templates, branding, and product design. You may use the service for your personal or household financial management. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the software or dashboards.
8. The AI Assistant is not financial advice
The AI Assistant is a conversational feature powered by Anthropic’s Claude model. It can answer questions about the data in your dashboard and make general observations. Its responses are informational, not professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
Do not make consequential financial decisions based solely on the AI Assistant’s output. Consult a qualified professional — CPA, CFP, attorney, fiduciary advisor — for decisions that materially affect your finances.
We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI Assistant responses or any other content we present. The service is decision support, not decision making.
9. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for errors in data supplied by third parties (including banks and Plaid) or for unauthorized access to your accounts that occurs through no fault of ours.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. If yours is one of them, the limits above apply to the maximum extent permitted.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Clario Labs harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
11. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may modify the service or these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we’ll give active users at least 14 days’ notice by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept them. If you don’t accept, your remedy is to close your account.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms or at our reasonable discretion — if we do so without cause, we’ll refund any prepaid amounts for services not yet delivered.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute resolution) do survive.
13. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Before filing any legal action, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing [email protected] and giving us 30 days to respond. Most issues can be worked out by email.
If informal resolution fails, disputes must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bandera County, Texas. You and we waive any objection to that venue.
14. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and SeeClario regarding the service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later. You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we can assign these Terms to a successor business entity (for example, if we convert Clario Labs from a sole proprietorship to an LLC).
